Dr. Copp is an accomplished organic chemist with several patents, both issued and pending, which focus upon development of small molecule drugs. He has managed chemistry programs at Quintessence, PanVera and Tetrionics, all in Madison, WI. Dr Copp was also Senior Research Scientist at Abbott Laboratories (Deerfield, IL) for 10 years from 1990 to 2000, where he was twice a recipient of the Scientist of the Year Award. Dr Copp was awarded his BS by the University of Illinois, his PhD by the University of Montana, and he did post-doctoral research at the National Cancer Institute (Bethesda, MD).
