Home About company history achievements our team Products Research Markets Contact News	Dr. William E. Fahl - Founder, Chairman, and Chief Scientific Officer. Dr. Fahl is Professor of Oncology in the McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During his career at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Fahl has done basic cancer research, worked with cancer patients, mentored doctoral candidates, and served as Course Director for the Medical School's course on Neoplasia. Dr. Fahl has developed all of ProCertus' technologies and will lead the company's continuing research and development efforts as Chief Scientific Officer. Dr. Fahl received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1975. He has taught and conducted research at the McArdle Laboratory since 1985. Prior to returning to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he was a member of the faculty at the Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, lastly as a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and the Cancer Center. Dr. Fahl has published more than 85 research papers, has been the recipient of more than $7.0 million in research grants, and has been an invited speaker at more than 50 national and international conferences and symposiums. Dr. Fahl's research provides the technology platform for the ProCertus patents. Dr. Fahl is also sought as an advisor and reviewer by government research and granting agencies, most recently serving on the Board of Scientific Counselors to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. He continues to work closely with both ProCertus staff and WARF to develop new patent filings to protect newly emerging products.
