Prior to joining the venture fund, he worked at the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, also located in Cambridge, MA. Campbell, who is also participating in the Kauffman Fellowship (class 11), is a New Zealand trained physician and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MPP (public policy) from the John F. Kennedy School of Government. He serves on the boards of Aileron Therapeutics, BioRelix and ProCertus BioPharm, Inc. and is an observer on the boards of MicroChips, Protemix, and Tepha, Inc.
