He is also a Professor of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin and an internationally-recognized specialist in the field of surgical oncology. Dr. Niederhuber was recently named one of the "Best Doctors in America." He has authored more than 100 papers in the fields of surgery and oncology, and has co-authored and edited the textbook, Clinical Oncology, one of the most widely used clinical oncology texts in the world.
