Dr. Okerholm is President of Okerholm & Associates, Inc., a Palm City, Florida consulting firm that specializes in pharmacokinetics and pharmaceutical development. Dr. Okerholm received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Boston University in 1970. He then joined Parke-Davis as Research Biochemist and, in 1977, moved to Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals, where he held positions of increasing responsibility. He was named Director, Drug Metabolism at Marion Merrell Dow in 1992. In 1994, he left Marion Merrell Dow to form Okerholm & Associates. Dr. Okerholm advises ProCertus on subjects concerning the transdermal bioavailability of its compounds.
