Norman D. Weiner, Ph.D. - Dr. Weiner is an Emeritus Professor in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan and a widely sought consultant to the pharmaceutical industry. Earlier in his career he was a Professor of Pharmacy at Columbia University. He has over 175 research publications and numerous meeting presentations on his work that has focused largely on the topical delivery of small molecule drugs into and through human skin. He received his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Columbia University in 1965. While at the University of Michigan, Dr. Weiner was instrumental in defining the topical delivery vehicle used by Upjohn in Rogaine.
